A novel by Richard and Esther Provencher We had an occasion to visit a facility for  “challenged” persons. Looking in from  the doorway we noticed one young  boy sitting forlorn on his bed. He  noticed us and said, “Please come.”  And we did. During our conversation  Shawn said he was lonely and one day,  his dad-Fred, would be coming to visit.
